EU pendular movement

The elections for the European Parliament concluded yesterday. After years of dominance from center-left leaning parties, the pendular movement declared right leaning parties as winners. Immigration and the war in Ukraine among other items has been determinant to their victory. In France, President Macron has disolved the country’s National Assembly and called for elections after Marie LePen victory. Other countries may follow with national elections as the results seem to indicate the discontent with current policies. European markets opened today on the negative side, due to an increase in uncertainty.
